Registration Packages

All EMS 2027 registration packages include full access to the event and its programs, along with meals during the event — snacks, lunch, and dinner, depending on the day’s schedule. See our FAQs below for full details.

1 The seating arrangement is divided into colour-coded zones. Only relevant zones will be available for booking during the Early Bird offer. GF = Ground Floor.

3 Theater seats will not be allotted to the Kids 0–6 free category.
Regular pricing — including our Green (Balcony & Boxes) zone — will be published here once the Early Bird offer ends on 15 December 2026.

Accommodation is not included in your registration and must be arranged separately. Upon successful registration, you'll receive a confirmation email containing a separate link to book a stay at the venue hotel, at special discounted rates. Please note that hotel bookings are handled independently by the hotel — the EMS 2027 team is not responsible for stay bookings or any related rights.

While filling out the registration form on the TicketVerz website, if you willingly provide someone else’s details as an Emergency Contact, please let them know as soon as possible. We use these details only to contact them in an emergency during the event and delete them within 30 days afterward. See our Privacy Policy.

No right of withdrawal: Registration for EMS 2027 relates to leisure services tied to specific dates (25–27 June 2027). Under §312g(2) no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), no statutory right of withdrawal applies. Cancellations, refunds, and ticket transfers are governed by our Terms and Conditions.

Merchandise is independent of your event registration and can be picked up at the registration desk during EMS 2027. As we’re unable to offer shipping, anyone is welcome to purchase merchandise even if they aren’t attending the event themselves — simply have a friend who is attending collect it on your behalf. It also makes for a lovely gift for those joining us.

General Event Information

What is the European Marathi Sammelan?
The European Marathi Sammelan (EMS) is a heritage of 28 years — a 2–2.5 day gathering where Marathi people from across Europe and the United Kingdom come together to preserve and embrace our language, culture, and traditions, and build an extended family with a foundation of friendship, support, and belonging. In 2027, EMS is organized by Maharashtra Germany Cultural Forum e.V. in Bad Nauheim, Germany.
Who can register for the event?
Yes! The European Marathi Sammelan warmly welcomes anyone who’d like to join us — Marathi or not, and from anywhere in the world. As the event’s programs are conducted primarily in Marathi, some familiarity with the language will help you enjoy the sessions fully. Given that EMS 2027 is hosted in Germany, we naturally expect strong participation from Marathi families across Europe and the UK — but anyone wishing to attend, connect with friends and family, network with the community, and enjoy the food and festivities is very welcome to register.
In which language(s) will the event be conducted?
The primary language of the whole program is Marathi. Some sessions may be held in English/German.
Is there a dress code for the event?
There is no strict dress code, but we encourage you to wear traditional Maharashtrian/Indian attire.
Are pets allowed in the hotel and theater during EMS 2027?
Pets are not allowed in the theater during the event. If you book a stay at Dolce by Wyndham Bad Nauheim, please check directly with them regarding their pet policy. EMS 2027 organizers hold no responsibility for any violation of the hotel’s pet policy by attendees.

Registration, Tickets and Cancellations

What does my registration/ticket price include?
Your registration/ticket includes the following, from the beginning to the end of the event:
1. Entry to all programs and networking opportunities
2. Food — Friday: snacks and dinner; Saturday: lunch, snacks and dinner; Sunday: lunch
3. Beverages — tea/coffee and basic non-alcoholic beverages
I have food allergies — should I inform someone in advance?
Attendees are responsible for managing their own and their children’s food allergies and dietary restrictions. While EMS 2027 organizers are unable to take responsibility for individual allergies, ingredient information for each dish will be displayed, and further details will be provided upon request.
Is breakfast included in the registration/ticket price?
No, breakfast is not included.
Are alcoholic beverages included in the registration fee?
No, only basic non-alcoholic beverages provided by the venue are included. Any special non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverages are chargeable by the venue and must be paid for by the attendee if ordered during EMS 2027.
Is outside food allowed at the venue or in the theater?
No, outside food is not allowed.
Can I bring food and/or beverages inside the theater during a program?
No, bringing food and/or beverages inside the theater during EMS 2027 is strictly prohibited.
Is accommodation included in my registration/ticket price?
Accommodation is not included and must be arranged separately by the attendee. To avail a discounted rate offered by Dolce by Wyndham, Bad Nauheim, a detailed E-Mail will be sent to registered attendees upon successful completion of their registration.
Can I transfer my registration/ticket to someone else?
Tickets are non-transferable. However, the organizers understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise; in such cases the decision is at the organizers’ discretion and reviewed case-by-case. Can I get a refund if I cancel?
Refunds are neither automatic nor guaranteed. They are only considered for unforeseen and unplanned circumstances, as stated in our Terms and Conditions and reviewed case-by-case at the organizers’ discretion. Can I get a refund if the organizers cancel the event?
Yes — if the organizers cancel the event for any reason, all attendees will receive a refund of the ticket price. See our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Are there registration categories, and do they have a deadline?
Yes, registration categories and deadlines are listed above under Registration Packages.
Are group or family discounts available?
No, there are currently no such discounts for this event. Should discounts become available for other cultural organizations in future, this will be advertised on our website in due course.
What payment methods are accepted?
Available Payment Methods on TicketVerz Platform are MasterCard, Visa, American Express, PayPal, Sofort Klarna.
Will I receive an invoice/confirmation of registration?
Yes — once registration is complete, an automated email will be sent to the address used to register. Follow-up emails with further information and updates about the Sammelan will also be sent by the organizers.
Does my registration/ticket have a specific seat number?
Yes — you can select your (and your family’s) specific seat(s) from the open and available seating options. Your row and seat numbers will be reflected in your registration confirmation/ticket.

Handling of Children / Kids

Are children/kids allowed at the event? If so, what are the charges?
Yes, children/kids are welcome and registration packages are designed accordingly. Children/kids below 6 years have free entry but are not entitled to a dedicated seat during programs. Children/kids from 7–15 years have a reduced price and are entitled to a dedicated seat. It is the parent’s/guardian’s responsibility to ensure their children do not cause a nuisance or disturbance during programs.
What happens if a child causes a nuisance or disturbance during a program?
The organizers reserve the right to request that the parent/guardian leave the theater with the child causing the disturbance. We encourage families with small children to book seats close to the exit areas.
Is there any childcare/babysitting facility during EMS 2027?
No, there is no babysitting facility available during EMS 2027.

Venue and Directions

What is the venue for the event?
The venue is Dolce Jugendstil- Theater (Hotel Dolce by Wyndham) Bad Nauheim, Elvis-Presley-Platz 1, 61231 Bad Nauheim, Germany. Conveniently located in the heart of Bad Nauheim, it is easily accessible by air, rail, and road. This 4-star conference and wellness hotel is set in a green location directly by the Kurpark, within walking distance of the town centre and close to the Sprudelhof. See our Location page for more.
How can I reach the venue from Frankfurt Airport?
Frankfurt Airport is approximately 50km from the venue. By train (recommended): take a regional or S-Bahn train to Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof, then a regional train to Bad Nauheim Station (approx. 60–90 minutes total); the venue is then about 1.2km away, with taxis available. By taxi: approximately 35–40 minutes directly from the airport, depending on traffic.
How can I reach the venue from Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof?
Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof is approximately 40km from the venue. By train (recommended): frequent regional connections to Bad Nauheim run approximately 40–50 minutes; the DB Navigator app can help with real-time connections. The venue is then about 1.2km from Bad Nauheim station, with taxis available.
How can I reach the venue by car?
Bad Nauheim is well connected to Germany’s motorway network. Follow the A5 (Frankfurt–Kassel Autobahn) and take the exit for Bad Nauheim, then follow signs towards the town centre and Dolce by Wyndham Bad Nauheim.
Is parking available at the venue?
Yes, paid parking is available at the venue, subject to availability, with further parking spots nearby. If you’re booking a stay at the venue, please check directly with the hotel regarding parking inclusions in their room rates.
